The Minister for Europe and International Affairs spoke in flip to her Armenian and Azerbaijani counterparts, Mr Ararat Mirzoyan and Mr Jeyhun Bayramov respectively, on the night of Tuesday 13 September.
She expressed France’s very deep concern in regards to the large-scale army operations on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the strikes which have hit Armenian territory. She signalled her dedication to Armenia’s territorial integrity and repeated that using drive is unacceptable. She known as on the events to abide by the ceasefire and return to the negotiating desk.
She advised her counterparts that tomorrow France will put the difficulty on the agenda of the United Nations Safety Council, whose presidency it presently holds.
