Czech Republic – Go to by Franck Riester (29 Jun. 2022)


Franck Riester, Minister Delegate for Overseas Commerce and Financial Attractiveness, hooked up to the Minister for Europe and Overseas Affairs, is touring to Prague on June 29.

There he’ll meet with Jozef Síkela, Minister of Trade and Commerce; Marek Havrda, Deputy Minister for European Affairs; and Štěpán Černý, Director-Common of European Coverage Coordination for the Prime Minister.

Because the Czech Republic seems forward to the beginning of its EU Council presidency on July 1, Franck Riester will share the commerce coverage advances now we have made throughout our Council presidency, that are geared toward making our insurance policies extra assertive, accountable and sustainable and a larger supply of alternatives for our companies.

Mr. Riester may even focus on the strengthening of the Franco-Czech financial relationship, particularly as regards tasks within the transportation and power sectors. He’ll stress the overlapping views and pursuits shared by France and the Czech Republic relating to the position of nuclear energy within the transition to carbon-free power and the necessity to finish our dependency on Russian oil and fuel within the context of Russia’s struggle of aggression towards Ukraine.

Franck Riester will meet with the French enterprise neighborhood within the Czech Republic, which is centered across the Franco-Czech Chamber of Commerce and the Group France Export community, to debate the results of the struggle in Ukraine. He’ll participate within the Companions’ Day occasion organized by EDF with a view to formalize the partnership between French and Czech companies in preparation for bidding on the tender for the development of the Dukovany 5 energy plant, a challenge that’s supported by EDF and by France. Mr. Riester may even reiterate our want to forge a real European nuclear power alliance with the Czech Republic.
